Kingwood forearm, 3 long ebony points into recut holly, ivory spear in each point. 3 short points of ivory into ebony recut. Slight texture leather wrap, butt is ebony, with continuous band of kingwood in 3 diamond pattern, 6 ivory spears, holly bordering, 3 14k slotted diamonds from the Scruggs shop, bordered in ebony and ivory. 3 ivory diamonds. Ringwork in all places is brass and ivory rings, brass squares inlaid with phenolic diamonds, black center band. Rings are a 200 dollar adder each.... Recently refinished forearm, polished buttsleeve. Super clean cue.

Cue plays great, 2 shafts ivory ferrules, 12.8+ mm, one has slight wobble other is straight. Dated 94. This cue will have a letter from Jim White. So if you are looking for a Mottey to play with, or put away, this is that cue.

I had a few e-mails but yes, this was on another dealers site, and yes it had a wood joint. Mottey shop did all the work including changing the joint and refinishing the forearm.

I remember the cue when Troy had it. I almost bought it and did exactly what you did . It's definately what the cue needed. Awsome cue with nice history.

Hey the funny thing is we displayed the cue in VF for a friend of mine that traded with Troy. He didn't offer me a price to buy it, and then a mutual friend of the both of ours, bought it from him. He is a good friend of Pauls and had Mottey do the joint. What a difference, in the cue. So I then bought it from him.

While we had it in VF Jim said, hey that's my old cue. So the authentication was direct.

So now I have it and I hit a few balls with it and it only reinforced why I like piloted ivory joints.
