Anyone looking to try out a Layani at a resonable price, this is the cue to get. This is a plain Layani with no bells or whistles. It does however play exactly the same as Layani's $2000+ cues.

I have a Natural Collection cocobola butt with curly maple shaft. Take a look at the 'conical joint' technology that Thierry uses. www.layanicues.com .. I actually just received a brand new shaft for the cue. It has been chalked to be tested but other then that, the cue has not seen any action since the new shaft arrived.

I am looking for $500USD or best offer.

PM me if your interested. I will try to figure out how to post pictures this evening when I get home from work. I am in Ottawa if there is any local interest.

Mike

If you could please post the specs of the cue (weight, shaft size, etc.) I would greatly appreciate it.

I just found an old email from Thierry in which he says that the weight of the cue is 19.5oz and the lenght is 58". Personally, it feels lighter then this to me but he has incredible balance in a cue so that might be why. It has a curly maple forearm with a black and brown linen wrap and has a cocobolo buttsleeve. I will try to post pics tonight. If not, I will definitely tomorrow (Saturday).

Curly maple shaft...? I certainly hope not, Mike. Handle or fore-arm maybe?

Lol.

NOT TRYING TO BUTT IN, BUT I HAVE TWO CURLY MAPLE HELMSTETTER SHAFTS FROM THE EARLY EIGHTIES, AND THEY ARE DEAD STRAIGHT AND PLAY AWESOME. I WAS VERY CONCERNED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE WARPED BUT THEY HAVEN'T IN ALL THAT TIME.

Layani

Finally -- here are some pics of the Layani. If anyone is interested, just let me know ... Mike

Layani Arrived Safe and Sound

Thanks for a wonderful transaction. I picked up the cue this morning it will spend the next few weeks in my bag. Hit a few balls and loved the hit. It does feel lighter than 19.5, but I like it. Packing was good and I wouldn't hesitate to by from Snorks again.
