Here are several pieces of nice Nigerian ebony that has been freshly planed on 2 sides and then resealed after the photos were taken. The pieces are 2x3x24. The second photo shows the second side of the same board. What you see is what you get! Most of the streakiness will disappear with finish. The boards are lettered from left to right. Each board is $62.00 + 10.00 shipping in CONUS. Deduct $3.00 shipping on each additional board. Add 3% PayPal. Thanks for looking. Martin

A,B,C, E,F, and G are SOLD.

I have alot of this ebony and the pictures don't do it justice. It looks jet black with a finish on it. Chris.

Thanks Chris. I'll offer a refund less shipping if someone is unhappy with what they receive! I planed both sides of the the boards to remove the wax and give someone a good look at what they were getting. Each board will yield multiple forearms, buttsleeves, pointwood, and inlay slabs. Should finish up nice and black with finish.

bump...have other sizes and grades as well!

Martin, Do you have any 6/4 ebony in either 12, 16 or 18 or increments as these? Ebony is just so expensive and usually needs to be sat on for so long that I hate to waste any.
Dick

Sorry Dick, its all 8/4 except for some 1x2x12 stock for points. I hope to have 1-1/2" x 18, 24, and 36" ebony squares next spring. Just talked to the Nigerian source this week. Unfortunately, the cost of everything is going to increase due to higher transportation costs and the weakening dollar. It makes me sick to think that our so called leaders in government have put us in a position where the dollar is worth .68 Euros. Can you believe it?

BTW, you can split the 3" billets down the center after you've taken in inlay slab or two off the whole piece. You then have your forearm and buttsleeve size stock. Thanks, Martin
