I had a Uniloc Predator shaft that the ferrule cracked on. I sent it back to Predator, and they replaced the ferrule and put a brand new Everest tip on it. It has the very slightest of a taper roll...very minor, with some shaft bluing, and a few very minor dents in the finish area. Obviously, the ferrule and tip are perfect. The shaft is 12.5mm and weighs 3.7oz. It has a solid black collar.

SOLD to az8jake...thanks.

Joe

Hello, I just started playing with a New Predator Seanky pete and would like a back up shaft. Could you tell me if 12.5 mm plays different if at all to a new one which is 12.75.Thanks Bob Jacobs

Not considerably. The deflection, etc is pretty much the same. Any time you play with a thinner shaft, the precision of your stroke needs to be more precise to avoid imparting additional spin. Tons of people play with thin shafts and love them...look at the popularity of the 11.75mm Z2 and the others like it.

With all that being said, the .25mm difference between 12.5 and 12.75mm would not be much difference at all, especially for a back-up shaft. Plus, you are looking at a cost of just $110, which includes shipping, and it has a brand new tip on it.

I sent you a PM.

Joe
