FS: Schon ST-11

I hit with this last night and it plays great! Also the "blemishes" are not noticeable and you can't feel them through the finish...Great cue! Glws!

Sorry, but I have to tell this for those of you that don't visit the snooker section. Yesterday, I took the butt of this Schon and matched it up with one of my shafts that was made by Ryan Theween for my old Gilbert cue. That shaft has a thicker ferrule/tip and I'm more accustomed to it.

Anyway, my friend had called me and wanted to play 4 games of snooker on his son's 5x10 table (nice table and it's fairly stingy at the pockets). Took this combo out and managed a 116 point run (break) during the second game. Would have been 129 but I attempted a Ronnie O'Sullivan shot by switching to my left hand for the final pink. Missed!

At my age, I'm very happy with a 116 point run although at one time that wouldn't have been worth a mention.

If this cue doesn't sell, I won't be heartbroken. :)

Great cue, I always liked this model. "8BallRat" is looking for a Schon butt. Show him, he can always sell the shaft.

After reviewing more info about shipping ivory, I had best decline shipping the cue to Canada. I'm sorry. The restriction seems totally ridiculous to me.

ps: thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I'll have to check with 8BallRat.

Yes, but I will have to check to see how much extra that would cost. I doubt there is enough ivory in the cue to be of concern.

That's a sharp looking cue, sir. I might be interested in JUST the buttsection. No interest/need for the shaft at all.

Drop me a line if you're inclined to explore that option.

Thanks much!

Cue should have sold , super price , probably to low , might sell faster if you relisted it for $850 . GL Jim

Nobody has any money , everyone wants to trade .

Jason, I amended my reply to you above. Bottom line is that I don't dare ship this cue to Canada. The risk involved just isn't worth it.
