I have a really nice, old Scruggs player available. This cue has not been a closet queen, and it has some light bumps and bruises to show for it, but it is straight and plays super. I have tried to show the worst of the bumps in the pix. The forearm is in very good condition with only a few very light bruises. The butt sleeve has some light bruises and the one little patch shown in the pix...no finish dings, just bruises. Overall, this is a very nice condition, early Scruggs player.
This is an early Scruggs. The butt is 28.5" and the shaft is 29", making the cue 57.5".
I am offering this player for less than you can get a decent Scruggs sneaky for.
Specifications:
-Butt: 15.5oz, 28.5"
-Shaft: 3.9oz, 12.7mm, 29", non-ivory ferrule, unsure of tip
-5/16x14 piloted stainless steel joint
-Black phenolic joint collars with silver beauty ring
-Lightly stained birdseye forearm and butt sleeve
-Tan/brown irish linen wrap
-Triple veneer rings (black/white/black) above the butt cap
-Old "TS" engraved logo
SOLD!! Thanks!
Joe
