Hearn Shaft:
29", Black Collar with Silver-Nickel Ring (some oxidizing/small nick), 3/8-10 joint, Straight (separate or when paired with a butt), 3.4oz, 12.21mm, with Elk Master Tip. Minor bluing, but has been cleaned, waxed, and sealed. Bought in 1990 from Greg Hearn. RIP.

Have been interested in trying one of the Mezz shafts, but I was really looking forward to the normal size (12.5). The 12.2 might not be horrible, but are you sure the joint would fit on an old (1990) standard Schon 5/16x14 joint?

I have a Schon SL13, I bought in 1993 used, which was at least a year or two years old and it fits perfectly. However, since my Schon could be different than yours, if you want to go ahead and get it, and it doesn't fit, ship it back and I will return your payment in full. Please let me know if your interested via PM. Bear in mind, both shafts have been re-tapered to a Pro taper, so this would not have the stock Mezz parabolic taper.
