I have never used this cue, and kept it in a leather carrying case for the duration of ownership. It is featured in the 3rd edition Blue Book of Cues twice (one in color, and one in b/w). The cue has been very well taken care of. Cue was refinished, leather wrap reconditioned, and playing shaft bleached, cleaned, and resealed by Scot @ Proficient. Cue is pristine.

Here are the specs:
Overall length: 58"
Weight: 19.25 oz
Butt: Gabon Ebony/Birdeye Maple with 3 rings of Purple Heart/Ebony/Pudumuju separating the Ebony and Maple. Black phenolic butt cap.
Wrap: Semi-smooth black leather
Forearm: Gabon ebony nose/4 hi & 4 low Birdseye maple points w/some quilting
'Veneers': 3 'veeners' of Pudumuju/Purple heart/Ebony on both the hi & low points
Ring work: Maple/Ebony Railroad track @ A,B,C,D, and E
Shafts: Hard Rock Maple x2, one unplayed.
Joint: 3/8 - 10 black phenolic

Cue was valued at $1800 last year before being featured in the BBoC.
$1500 obo.

Please PM me if you have any questions.

OMG!!! I had hoped to have the money to purchase my 'baby' back, when it again became available, but alas, that is not the case.:(

I can tell you that IMHO, this cue plays AMAZING. If you like the hit of a flat-faced joint, this cue is the bomb! Weight and balance are superb. I had a great deal of angst parting with it.

With that all said, I can also tell you that, to my knowledge, this is the ONLY cue that Skip has done the 'veneered' hi and lo points in. VERY time-consuming. Whomever the lucky individual is to acquire this cue, will not be disappointed. The cue is worth every penny!!! This is the only cue I have ever regretted selling. :(

For anyone whom may be interested, there are additional pics @ Proficient's website. http://www.proficientbilliards.com/cues/skip_weston/ebony_birdseye/index.htm

Zeeder is going to have heart failure too!!!

This cue is a real beauty and a good value at that price...I just can't swing it or else I would be all over it.

I got some trade bait I could throw at it...but still...not sure I could get it down in my price range.

Good cue and good luck with the sell.
