Here is a very nice cocobolo player from Leon Sly. On this cue, he accented the really nice cocobolo with some Southwest style ringwork. He also utilized a split butt sleeve of cocobolo and ebony separated with a triple veneer ring. This is a really nice cue, no dents or dings. It does have a slight bluing of the shaft.
Specifications:
-Butt: 14.8 ounces
-Shaft: 3.9 ounces, 12.8mm, LBM, looks to be a Triangle tip
-Radial pinned, wood to wood joint with phenolic sleeve
-Black phenolic joint collars with maple/ebony SW style ringwork (A/B)
-Very rich colored, nicely grained cocobolo forearm
-Black with brown specks irish linen wrap
-Split SW style butt sleeve of cocobolo and ebony
-Black phenolic ringwork at D/E in the SW style, maple/ebony
-The split butt sleeve is separated by a triple veneer ring of maple/black/maple
-Black phenolic butt cap
-Signed "Sly 08" right above the butt cap
