FS Tim Scruggs 4 Point Cue With 28 Ivory Inlays & Bore's Hide Wrap -NEAR MINT- STEAL
Up for sale is a TIM SCRUGGS custom cue, which is in NEAR MINT to MINT CONDITION (closer to MINT than NEAR MINT). The forearm features 4 razor-sharp Ebony points into Maple. Each point has 4 veneers (black, blue/green, purple and natural) and an Ivory diamond and 2 Ivory dots. The butt sleeve is Ebony and features 4 Ivory diamonds and 12 Ivory circles, and is in perfect condition. The cue has 3 sets of gorgeous double Maple stitch rings (2 in the butt sleeve and 1 above the wrap). The wrap is black bore's hide. The joint is flat-faced stainless steel with a 3/8-10 screw. The cue comes with 2 shafts, each of which has an Ivory ferrule. Although not depicted in the photos below, one shaft has a brand new/unchalked Moori Medium III tip; the other shaft has a meaty non-laminated tip. One of the shafts roll dead straight; the other has a slight taper roll, but still rolls at least 98% perfectly straight, and rolls straighter on the butt than off. Both shafts have slight bluing. The shaft diameters are 12.76 mm and 12.44 mm (measured at the tips). The cue is 58.0" long and weighs 19.2 oz. with one shaft and 19.1 oz. with the other; the butt alone weighs 15.7 oz.
