I positively want to sell this, no questions about that. I have no qualms about the escrow service, its just that from the price you offered, we would still have to shoulder costs for the shipping from the escrow service's location to you and that would be less than what we are hoping to get for the price of the cue. Moreover, we would also like to learn more about the escrow service mentioned - the criterias - how specific is it, etc.

May I also take this opportunity to request - for the Senior Members of this wonderful forum - to consider assigning or establishing an escrow service for my home country so that cue makers here could also have a chance to sell their masterpieces without much financial risk (Sending the cue to the US, buyer disapproves, escrow sends it back to the phils. with the shipping cost doubled, that is according to some stories I've heard). I know the escrow service isn't part of AZB, but this concept may help so that we can have a standardization of criterias, procedures and policies in Cue Sales like mine. On our part, there is no problem meeting the standard Criteria since Filipino Cuemakers are very talented and not only I, have invested a 100% confidence in them, but also the Filipino Champions like Efren Bata Reyes, Django Bustamante, to name a few. I felt the need to mention this not only for my sake but for the other Filipinos who wishes to sell their cues as well.

I dont know the deal with hdgis and his choice of escrow, but with all the PI junk makers on eBay lately alot are pretty iffy on buying cues from PI. I'm not trying to say your cue is junk, but most people here are going to want this cue looked at first before making a choice. Just my two cents...

Thank you Sir for enlightening me on that. I have mentioned that am very new here and this is my first time to sell a personal cue here and evidently I was not aware of such going ons at Ebay. May I also ask what are the criterias to consider that a cue is junk... Thank you.

As we have taken the time to consider the offers made to us, apparently, there is someone who deemed that I am trustworthy enough and agreed to purchase the cue without conditions on the price that we have expected it to be.

Cue is now officially SOLD, with a complimentary Star - Starpaper Corporation Philippines - Billiard Cue Stick (decal / maple shaft and 20++ designs to choose from) to be shipped in a leatherette 2x2 hard case (fiberglass interior mold).

This is quite an experience for me and my gratitude to all who became a part of it. :smile:

It is very hard for AZers to trust because there are so many scams out there and there have been so many people not living up to their commitments.

I hope you dont think I was trying to call you a scammer. I'm just saying there are rampant scams on eBay coming from other countries that look good until you get your hands on it. I hope you are legit, because you could push cues at that price all day long on here and would even get my business. That is a very nice looking cue.

I was just trying to say alot of people refuse to buy overseas anymore without escrow. Using Marcus over here in the states is a trusted man that will give an honest evaluation and he's trusted because I've bought from him before and he was dead on. Just trying to help and congrats on the sale!
 
It doesn't have anything to do with trust. It has to do with business. Congrats on your sale!
