The wood might be Goncalo Alves like my Varney playiing cue.
What is the joint material?
Is it a sleeved joint or solid?

If somebody wants a solid crisp hitting awesome playing cue... they better grab this puppy before I sell my Yairi guitar or it's mine. my $1700Yairi is going on ebay with a buy it now of $650 today and should sell quickly. You have a little time to beat me out of this one. Better not wait too long.

The joint material is sleeved phenolic. And you may be right on the wood. The cue plays great, it hits REAL solid.

last one................MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Mr. Varney, what kind of finish did you use on this one?

This is an example of my very popular Satin finish. Its really close to the early SW pacifier satin finish. I use it on many of my hustlers, j/b's, and even an occasional merry widow. It can always be refinished in high gloss if someone had rather. I suggest trying the Satin first though...its my favorite.

This is the first I've seen of this cue, maybe that'd because I was 5 weeks in que waiting for membership approval
