I have placed this cue on EBAY. I bought the cue a couple years ago from a reputable cue dealer in California. He was almost certain that it is an original American made Mali from the 70's. Please have a look and place a bid if you like. Anyone here more knowledegable than myself that can offer an opinion on the maker please feel free to do so.

Hopefully this link works, if not cut and paste to the browser page to view.
Thanks

Fine looking cue, but I don't believe Mali ever used a 3/8-10 pin. Every older Mali I've seen had a 5/16 18tpi joint pin. Best of luck on your sale.

Somebody hademailedme to informme that they have a cue that looks just like this cue with the Mali name on the butt cap.

I have seen one Mali which was almost identical, with the red veneers, 3/8x10 pin, white joint collar, with stitch rings at the joint.

The butt cap also looks very similiar to the Mali I have seen.

Have you email them?

Mali definitely made many cues with 3/8-10 pins. They also made many with sealed wraps. Kinda reminds one of a McDermott/Meucci combo doesn't it?

I can also back up the 3/8 pin. I know of at least 2 I have seen with them, and in fact that cue looks very close to one of them.
