I JUST RECIEVED this cue today. It hasn't even been out of my office, let alone to a table yet. (I've been working on turning the recep. area into...oh, nevermind)

I have heard that Woody (William Woodworth) J/Bs are comparable to Gilberts, so this was a steal for $200.00. But I recently recieved my Ron Waller J/B (from an AZer - thanks again Ken!!) and it's perfect for me.
To the best of my knowledge, this cue is straight. I specifically asked the previous owner who replied, "Yes, it's straight together and apart."
This is a very unique J/B and/or Players cue! W-2-W joint with phenolic collar, big 3/8 pin, 4 spliced points, and VERY COOL STARBURST INLAYS! The 4 inlays in the butt <might be> ivory; it has yellowed a little and you can see what appears to be grain, so I don't think it's micarta.
The cue has some dings and scuffs, but I would certainly play with it as is. Just give the shafts a good cleaning and put some SlipStic on and it's good to go. (Shameless product plug, huh Pete?!

2 shafts, very different wood cut and tapers so one is obviously for J/B and the other for playing.
