It's been a journey to get the bottom points to look half
way decent. The miter gets so thin and the slot gets small too.
It's a lot of fun doing this handwork and testing my patience.
I have had some choice words at times. But I guess I'm just
too stubborn.


Straight grain Wenge butt with straight grain maple nose
over 32" long, I put a little finish on one of the points to
show the colors. Things line up fairly well.

I'll try doing some other color combinations later. I'll post
them here and on my website that is in the starting process.

yeah Bob I'll be at the Lincoln City BCA tournament. Dave Jones and I are setting up
a booth. Probably next to yours. I love taking this break and banging some balls
around. Just a plug, buy plenty of tickets for the raffle, Dave Jones is donating one
of his cues to benefit the Western BCA. They need the support.
