I was playing in a tourny. I was on the 7 ball. DEAD straight in about a diamond from the short rail was the cue ball and the ob was half a diamond away from the pocket. The 8 and 9 were almost touching. I had barely enough room to cut the eight in the corner past it. Not only did I draw the ball the full table, I also made the shot with a dead shot on the 8. BEST feeling in the world. I normally 1.make the shot and get ***** for draw on the ball. 2. Miss the ball and get perfect shape or 3. miss the ball and get no draw LOL. Oh yeah and I did it with a house cue too.

wow son; dont break your arm patting your self on the back, I agree it takes a smooth solid stroke to draw, but if you can shoot around a draw that is the route to your run, draw is to hard to controle!!!! it takes lots of practice,good shootins post me again when you run a rack without draw!!! STICK

Wow old man....I was just happy cause I had done something I had done about once before. But, almost never have I pulled such a true stroke. As u said draw is hard to control...But, draw the full table that is hell to control That is why I was happy(and still am) But, thanks for trying to bring me down
. Oh btw I was left with this long shot on the 7 so it wasn't a problem of my shape.

Erikido, getting that cueball to spin around the table makes you feel great. 
Here's a shot I played in a small 9-ball tournament, I was feeling quite loose and relaxed and went for the nice draw position from 7 to 8. The angle was a bit off and top spin could've made me hit the 9 in the way so I felt it was too risky. Well, the draw was perfect and I naturally ran out the 2 remaining balls. Made my opponent to say a few nice things as well..

WTF is wrong with people. Why does it seem that a common reaction to an enthusiastic post like this is to criticize. A good mentor or teacher needs to be much more tactful offering constructive criticism. Is that how you would respond to your kids if they came home from school and said
"Hey Dad...I just got an 'A' on my paper"
