Thanks - I hadn't seen the Fats video previously. I liked what Alan King offered at the end. I'm sure Fats would have been willing to agree.

I never met Fats but I've heard people speculate he was illiterate because he carried a rubber stamp for autographs instead of writing his name.

There were two well known hockey icons. Only after long careers did they admit that they were illiterate.

One was the coach of the Montreal Canadiens...he would talk about the different ‘tricks’ the used to hide his illiteracy How could a coach walk down a block in Montreal not be approached by every boy for his autograph? He Carried hockey cards with his picture and had his wife pre sign them.
