There is a lane to the end, so why not utilize it?
Is the person who merges at the end less offensive than the driver who stops at the earliest point to merge and blocks the r) lane to those behind her?

Right. Fully utilizing the merging lane is the best way to merge traffic, resulting in less guesswork, more efficient spacing between cars and less "jamming" overall. This is especially important in big cities.

It should be a law..every other car merges.. a cop should be there to maintain that and there would be less problems.
