Yeah frankly I think the moving sheet's one of those magician props.

You can actually train yourself to (momentarily) see the same color in both squares without covering anything up - kinda like you can train yourself to switch dominant eyes momentarily. What we "see" is determined as much by our brains as our eyes (more?).
