Tomato too ha ha
It's a real thing, a Bacon Weave Double Cheeseburger.

Two 1/3 pound patties, each wrapped in a bacon weave (see below). The bacon weaves are cooked a short bit in the oven and then cooled but still pliable. Wrap them around the burgers and finish on the grill. The rest of the bacon grease is absorbed by the burgers.

Why skimp out and use 1/3 pound patties? Go for quarter pounders!

@Sev would be smiling

I make something similar but use buffalo burger , diced onion , oatmeal and a egg mixed together then wrap a slice of bacon around it and fry to a med , then make gravy from the drippings and serve it over a slice of bread .

Damon it I'm hungry now ha ha ! Yes beef burger would work also .

The best burger I've ever had was called the dork burger. Mixture of duck and pork for the patty, I had them put bacon, cheddar, and havarti on it. There were four full slices of Hemplers bacon. It was too much, I took the bacon off and it was perfect.

Plus I had a little bacon snack later... That's never a bad thing.

Mix in some brown sugar. The oatmeal absorbs the sugar and makes the whole burger juicier with a little bit of sweetness. Plus, the sugar caramelizes on the outside and gives it a crisp outside.

I just made 17 half pound burgers last week and grillin some on Saturday. I use a bbq mat on the grill and never get flareups and get the bbq all messy. The bbq cools down,take the mat off and throw it in the sink to wash off. The burgers cook in their juices on the mat and brown nicely on the outside. The last few minutes I'll put bbq sauce on them and cheese for the cheese lovers.

I had buddy with a Britany Spaniel that did that 3 different times.

We were camping in the mountains years ago and took the dog for a walk. He was a 40lb indoor dog, never bothered a thing so we took the leash off (it was late), we got near the restroom and he bolted into the woods barking like a mad dog. Ran for about 5 seconds barking his arse off, then BAM - full reverse with the worst yelping I had ever heard! Ran straight to the gravel road and started grinding his face into it! Last time he ever messed with a skunk. He rode in the back of the truck on the way home. LOL.

Oh, and the rest of the campground was pissed because they were all downwind :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

So disappointed in you. You’da been a lot cooler if you ate the bacon on the burger and then ate more bacon later for you snack.

Follow me for more advice. I know it all:
