Funny pic/gif thread...

David it was a balmy 21 above zero when I first woke up this morning our high may reach the mid 50's with a nice breeze of 15 - 20 mph not bad for this time of year .

A friend who lives in Fairbanks Ak had - 11 below zero for their high temp

Unacceptable.

We just had our third snow of the season yesterday in NE Nevada. Cold enough for this one to stick for a while. Mountains are covered for the next several months. 6 above here in town predicted for Saturday.

Believe it or not but I've been to north beach Miami early summer for a union convention , it was 10 very different days for me thankfully I didn't forget anything when I left so I don't have to return ha ha

I'm a 4 season kind of guy , even when the arthritis acts up .
I would not like to live without the seasons. One of the greatest things about nature. If I did live in FL, AK or God forbid CA, I would have to travel to get to a different climate each season.

we have seasons......😂
june to september-hot and humid....possible hurricanes
october to january- not so hot /not so humid......october to december1 possible hurricanes
january to march - no humidity....... short "cold spells" could get into the 60's maybe high 50's
april may -still not much humidity slowly getting warmer

The best thing about four seasons is that infectious bugs die off and give us a break...used to play hockey at 15 below zero on a frozen lake.

I remember the four seasons of Florida as:
Early Summer
Summer
Late summer
Next Summer

I've lived in Mississippi (Gulf Coast), Alabama (Birmingham), Georgia (Macon, the most God-forsaken place on this Earth), Tennessee (Nashville) and Texas (Houston).

The only place with seasons was Nashville, where there were 4 distinct seasons, lasting about 3 months each. Snow and ice in the Winter and heat and humidity in the Summer.

Every place else was heat and humidity with a few scattered days of heat and no humidity and even less scattered days of sub-60 degree weather. The Gulf breeze negates the humidity, typically. And, when I was very young, it snowed 7" in Gulfport.

It's in the 80s today, pretty warm in November, even for Houston.
