Well guys as always we are plugging along trying everything we can think of to make sure this event goes off as always.

We are currently about 1400 dollars short but we are exploring some new avenues to gain some sponsorship that we hope will pan out.

I have to ask if the funding doesn't come up do you as a group feel that the event should go on with one table ?

I know how rough that is and how rough that sounds but it is literally the only thing I can 100 percent guarantee right now and I do not want this event to fall by the way side. Too many great people have helped out and too many people (Steve, Heather, Mike Panzarella, Mark Hadley, Ron Faraday, and all of our incredible sponsors) have worked too hard to ensure the event continues and runs smoothly.

I do not want to have to cancel the event but I am being open and honest and telling you our situation. We have never been this close to the event before and not been fully sponsored by now and I will admit it is getting a little scary.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Charlie, with the new little one at home, I'm not sure I can make the event this year. I'm going to do my best.

Anyway, my check for $50 will be on its way. Hope this helps. You guys do an incredible job, truly.

Steve thank you so much, as always we hope to see you down there but if not we know you have the absolute best reason why my friend. Thank you again so much.

2 questions, Charlie:

(1) if you make the $1400, will you have 2 tables?
(2) if you cancel, what happens to any money i donate?

oops, one more:

(3) do you still have the 4 spaces from Allen, and if so, what would it take to get more than 2 tables?

Ok

1. We have made the 1500 up from Strachan (formerly Miliken) and a guarantee from Fury that they will make sure the event goes on and they will cover up to 1000 dollars for us as they truly believe in the event as we do so the event is definitely on.

2. If by some insane reason we have to cancel at this point (not likely) your money would be returned immediately without a second thought. You would get a check or money order form me in the mail the same day we make the announcement.

3. Right now we are working with 4 booth spaces and 2 tables. I have confirmed with Chad from Diamond today that we will have two beautiful 9 foot diamond pro ams as always covered in Strachan cloth.

4. It would take probably another 2 to 3k to get another table in there because we would most likely need another 2 to 3 booths to make it happen. Would love to see it but i just don't think its going to happen this year.

5. WE HAVE A NEW CUE SPONSOR AS WELL !!!! I am extremely proud to announce that Ruchard Hsu has pledged a cue to us as well that we will be picking up upon arrival at the expo. Not only did he donate a cue for us but he was extremely excited to do so and thats what we need. I am still waiting to hear back from other sponsors but we have some tricks up our sleeves.

Thanks

Thanks to everybody: sponsors, fans, and especially our guiding lights-Charles, Heather and Steve-for making this happen again.
See you in Philly.

Guys yesterday was a huge turning point in making sure the event goes off. It really is a testament to the 14.1 community to see events like the Derby the World 14.1 Maryland and of course our continue. It really is going to be a very exciting year. Like Gene said can't wait to see everyone in Philly.

Thanks Ron. I got tickets to Izod and was all excited that they were on the floor, only to realize they are way back from the stage. Brutal. But I'll be there!

You have any luck?
