Fury vs Sledgehammer b/j

I do not know the difference between the Fury and Sledgehammer. My Sledgehammer is American made, I am not sure where the Fury is made. But I currently have a brand new Sledgehammer on eBay with no reserve. It is all black with a black/blue wrap 19.2 oz. My ebay id is feldz2323 if you are interested in the cue.
Fury is good for the price,i had one and sold it for a $100,i heard the sledgehammer is good as long as its not the mass produced one from China.
I actually currently have a USA made Sledgehammer for sale and will take $125 for it including shipping. Let me find the thread...AHA

I just stated a fact xidica, like it or not. I have sold over 75 economy Sledgehammers, 10 RS American models and 3 Customs. I think I know a little more about them than you do. I have been working with Mike G. for 4 years. And yes, we kid around about getting stoned, you got a problem with that? I hardly think you could call me a dope fiend.

If you bought this from a drug addict at economy prices one might suspect that it was stolen. I think that most of the forum members would perfer if you not try to sell suspected stolen property on our forum.

Thanks, Purdman. So if I swap shafts with another Sledgehammer, and both cues are straight, can I be pretty confident at that point that they are both American made?

I did an extensive interview with Gulyassy last year for his article. At the time, there was only one version of his SledgeHammer that he wasn't thrilled with the quality. The fact that he went back to having his Original Sledgehammer produced in Asia should be a clue of which one he liked more.

Here's the story, as I got from Mike, and I wrote in the article. He has several different tiers of SledgeHammer. The Type 1 (Original Specs) the proline, and the elite. The latter two are made in Gulyassy's shop. The first is made in Taiwan (Kao Kao).
The other now discontinued model was the SledgeHammer 2 made by McDermott. It's discontinued because Mike apparently wasn't getting what he thought he would from McDermott and took the business back to Kao Kao.
I don't have any clue about the recently posted new McDermott/SledgeHammer relationship.

I tried both the "original" Sledgehammer against the Fury JB and didn't notice any difference in the spreads or cue control. They both had a rock solid hit and good dispersion. I went with the Fury and put the remaining $200 in a new Universal Smart Shaft. Good luck with your search, you can't go wrong with either stick.
