Think about this , pool is not like baseball, football basketball. There arent youthleagues ,junior leagues or clubs.
Hey guys if you want players to continue to buy cues; how about donating to the BEF? Dr.Dave has a thread where he and others are offering matching funds up to 2G. Could be wrong but I dont recall seeing any known cue flippers/sales guys on there.

Great post and words of encouragement, alphadog.

Our collective support of any group helping the youngest generation of kids and future passion players surely should rank right up there with noble and honorable pursuits.

Balls, cues, books, tables, lessons and funding all help - and pay dividends twice over when donated.

A kind heart and thoughtful soul you have, -dog. I knew it when I first met you 35 years ago, sir 🧐

Aside from the BEF, there are places with junior programs also that would not mind equipment or your time donations. A member on here, team slo, send a nice US made Shmelke cue to me that will be given to one of our local kids that is going to Jr Nationals this year, as well at tossing in a $20 to our gofundme campaign.

We (Jin and I) have posted on FB the raffle tickets for the BEF. We received 26 and they sold out on FB within minutes.

We got a more large amount of tickets and just sold another 100 worth. Jin and I pledged to give up half of the extra ticket funds to other needy juniors and just donated our first 60 bucks to pay for some 11 year old boys entry to the BEF nationals.

Yes I would love to have every last dollar since these trips this year for Jin nearly broke me, but I also want Jin to grow up knowing that every little bit can help another person out.

Hang-The-9, Jin and I are glad we could help, he made sure he was with me at Kinko's shipping off the Schmelke.

Need more stories like this in the forums. Thanks for all you have done.
