For the many who doubted AND the many who may be interested in playing high quality Gin Rummy On-Line, I have retrieved (from my CPA) my 1099 from GameColony.com
To see how this tax liability works with GameColony, please go to-

Under, "General Terms and Conditions" scroll down to "Legality and Taxes".
Here is where it states that they will be sending you a 1099 at years end for any amount over $600.
I started in 2001 with a $10 deposit and learned their system. Keep in mind that I already played top-notch Gin and I just had to learn how to over-come the per-game percentages that they charge.
It really isn't that hard and I can help anyone (who plays very good Gin) learn how to do what I do.
Instead of paying the percentages they charge, I originally proposed that we (AZers) play each other for either nothing or $1, just to use their system.
We could settle up amongst ourselves. Ask Me How.
IT IS THE BEST - & - THERE IS NO WAY FOR ANYONE TO ENCRIPT OR READ CARDS LIKE ON YAHOO.
The proof is in this 1099 as entered on my personal Tax Return for 2004.

OMG...hmmm....I used to be a decent gin player...or so they tell me...big HMMM...but hate to invest the money right now.

I did play some for free on there OHB, and I was starting to get my strategies back as I call it.

Now if I can get remember my screen name, I think I was KidShark, but can't seem to log in right now.

And for the record, I believed you as well...

It is amazing that someone has to knock his own actioin to prove idiots are exactly that.
 
$Bill - Don't worry, My action CAN"T be knocked!

The purpose of the original thread was to get AZers enjoying playing Gin on-line with each other. I first checked with the powers that be (here @ AZ) to see if it was OK & they had no problem with it.
I know from many years experience that a lot of pool players also play Gin the same as golfers do.
WOULD, CAN OR WILL I HUSTLE GIN FROM AZers who bet cash with me ???
YOU DAMN RIGHT!
But it is also a great site for AZers to play other people and win/lose with players from all over the world.
I have developed a system at GameColony.com that assures that NO ONE knows when or if they are playing me, so I CAN'T BE KNOCKED.
I can't tell you how many times I have been playing a person from Lithuania, Russia, Thailand or Sweden (for between $50 & $200 a game) and they didn't even know to play their hits off.
THIS SITE IS ALMOST AS GOOD AS A "PAST-POST"!

Perk - That's my CPA's job! I just make it. He figures out what happens with it and everyone else spends it. You wouldn't believe what it cost me to just exist, with 2 mortgages and 2 kids in private Universities. I guess that is why I drive a 1991 GMC Suburban w/ 250,000 miles on it.
