g-10 is hard to work with cutting tools it realy dull's the tools .

i think joe gold uses the G-10 epoxy joint on the cogs but im not sure.

That is what Joe uses although his is a 7/16-11 Acme thread. You can purchase 3/8-10, G-10 pins from www.cuesupply.com at about $8.00 each if I remember correctly.

You do not have permission error

It looks like they have either closed shop, or are revamping their website. The reason you get that error is because there is no default webpage (i.e. index.html) for that address. The web server will not allow users to see the file index which is why you get the "no permission" error.
