Well, his birthday got off to a better start. But as usual......still a long way to go the next couple days.

that a lot of people know Gabe is a good player, but they still underestimate him in their minds. They see him come up against someone like Corey, and automatically think Gabe is the underdog. Some of the people might think, in their minds, that Gabe has not solidified himself
as the 'real deal' for a pro player. I might remind a few people that Gabe has beaten some of the Filapino hotshots that other pro players can't seem to get past when they come up against them.

Since Gabe has to play Alcano today, I am not going to overdo this, I am saying though that Gabe and Alcano should be a real good match.

Crap, I had to be gone today, so missed that. Hopefully someone will give some insight as to how that one went overall.
I just got home in time to hear he won. I personally think that one of Gabe's strengths is that he has pretty good safety strategies at times when he needs it most, to get through some of these hair raising matches! JMO

That, and he shoots so straight it's ridiculous. I'm still trying to learn Gabe's preshot routine. I love how he gets down on the shot so slowly and his cue remains perfectly still. That's a perfect way to align if you ask me.
