I am watching an old episode of The First 48 and the first investigation is of a murder in Cincinnati of a "former professional pool player" named Gary Secone. Anyone ever hear of him? I could not find anything pool wise on him? He was 53 and the show was tapped in 2008 her is a link.

(it includes a transcript but there are 2 unrelated crimes they are investigation so it may be a little confusing)

and here is an article about the crime.

Oh and the kid that killed him only got 3 years. :(

I watched that show...imagine being in her shoes knowing that her husband was being beaten outside but if she opened the door to help...

Three measley ****ing years for beating a man to death with hands?!?! What a country!!!

I think it is just one of those occupations that are hard to disprove like Waitress or Personal Trainer or a Hustler might really consider himself that.

I saw another "PPP" on a True Crime show where i never heard of him also.

I'm sure that is it. Maybe that is what he told his wife to impress her?

I was on peoples court once with judge milian over a classic corvette sale where a guy tried to screw me. I won i think it was about $3500 and received a nice on air compliment from judge M over how well prepared she said l was. Fyi the show pay your travel, hotel, and your meals while you’re there. And most importantly they even pay the judgement if you win so you don’t have to sweat getting the money from the defendant. .
