Do the GC3 and later models have different apron bottom edge design from the earlier GC models?

I have seen reworked GC's for sale and some have straight bottom edges where the drop pocket is exposed a little when you look at it and others where the apron has a deeper curve to it on the bottom edge and you cannot see if it is a drop pockect or not?

Thank you for help

Yes, the GC1's & 2's had shorter blinds because they had the plastic trim added to the bottom of the blinds to hide the drop pockets. The GC3's were changed to longer blinds to make up for that, and to drop the plastic extensions. The GC3's were also changed to a bolt system of mounting the blinds, where as before they were hung in place using the aluminum extruded molding to hinge the blinds in place.

Thank you sir. My search for a correct GC-3 (Best Bang for my Limited Buck) has been a infomative journey thanks you mainly but not to exclude the many pros here that the uninformed (like me) rely on here.

Hopefully some day I will find one.Thin pickins around the Twin Cities.
