Just a question for anyone who has ever done it .How hard
or how much $$ would it take to get it done .I have a gold
crown 3 with the wood finish rails .I would want them striped
and recoated .Just curious about what it takes to get it done
Thanks guys I know I have had alot of questions about
stuff lately just trying to get motivated on it

Post some pictures of the rails please, I've never seen wooden finished GC 3 rails, didn't know Brunswick even made them!

Glen

Matt, that's a laminate on those rails tops. What most people do is the aprins and legs and live with the rail tops. I have seen your posts, it looks like you want to make a GC 3 into a GC 4, if so, your better off selling your 3 and purchasing a 4. If your trying to fix up a old pool hall table, there's only so much you can do, that why the pool hall replaced them.

btw

Just redoing a gc 3 .I don't like the gc4's as well as the older ones
Just have alot of questions I guess .I will probably just redo the rubber
and get the castings coper coated :D

If you are considering going with this recommendation, please feel free to PM me for a second opinion. I would hate to see anyone go through what I did.

Well, at some point in the near future I will probably tell the whole story on AzBilliards, but I'm not quite ready yet. Basically, it would be a huge understatement to say that I am an unsatisfied customer.

After all the things that happened (which I won't go into right now), we could not agree on a way to "make things right", but I have one or two appropriate recourses left to exhaust before I write the unsatisfied customer review on AZB.

I'll try to hurry things along because I don't mean to rub people the wrong way with the secretive tone of my post.

I'll say it if you won't Joey, Pat Sheehan can't re-rubber, can't extend, or can't recover Gold Crown rails worth a shit! I've seen enough of his work to stand behind my statment!

Hi Sundown,

My son likes to put graphics together (I guess he learned in school) so I asked him to make me a few things for my avatar. I get board with just one so I like to change them around...

PS. Table is under construction...
