GC III Mini Restoration Done

Got a good deal on a GC III from a guy that wanted it removed from his basement. Sanded the aprons down to bare wood then hit them with Minwax Red Mahogany & 2 coats of semi-gloss polly. The red mahogany really matched perfect and brought out the grain of the wood. I do my own powder coating so we powdered the feet pedestals & castings with Eastwood's Copper Metallic. Luckily the ball box face plate shined up with steel wool. Also had new Simonis with Diamond cushions installed.

Looks great! Did the powder coating yourself? So? What would you charge to do my GCIII castings? :)

Sorry, I dont think I'd be interested in powder coating for hire. I would probably need to charge more than its worth to you to make it worth while for myself. With this particular powder color I had to bake the copper metallic then bake a super clear gloss coat powder after. It was kind of a pain in the A$$. If you end up taking them to a shop that does powder coating you can tell them I used Eastwood's Copper Metallic. I think it looks pretty good finished.

Gotcha, I was thinking maybe you worked at some place that did it and used their facilities :)
