GC IV - junk or worth keeping?

I have a GC IV out of one of the Miz's senior tournaments in Biloxy, MS.
It was bought right after the tournament, still new condition, stored by me for a few years, and installed in my basement 3 years ago. It still looks brand new. I have a few questions. The pocket casings do not sit flush on top of the rails, they stick up a little even though they can not be seated any farther...they are on the wood, no gap. In one spot I can feel the slate seam, not noticable, except by me cause I know where to feel. The end of the cushions at the pockets is hard, not soft... like there is some hard facing on them, and the pockets are real tight...two balls will not fit in corner pockets. All in all this is not bad even though I would like for it to be perfect. Is it worth paying the money to fix these things, even though in Central Il, I don't know if I trust the mechanics I've seen, and after reading about the GC IVs on this forum I'm starting to believe I should just buy another table or somehow update this one with new everything, but I don't know if the frame is OK. I read how the corners had to be beefed up with a bracket too. Any opinions, ideas, estimates on making it right, or new table preferences???
Thanks

The table is worth keeping that's for sure, and everything you described can be fixed with no problems, just need to find someone that can do it is all.

Thanks Glen, I'll have to see if there are any good mechanics in central IL, The work I've seen so far has me worried, and if I need anything other than leveling, or changing cloth , I'm probably out of luck.

Some of the top mechanics will be in Chicago come July for the BCA show. If you can wait that long you may be able to book someone to service your table.
