Wanted to say congradulations to Johnny for a great tournament. Also
to Stevie who played a very strong second . Score 11-7 JA .
Also wanted to say a HUGE thanks to Kim Davneport .Not only did he
place 5th ,he ran around all weekend keeping a good eye on things and
really made it all a top notch tournament .Rik had some of the best cues
and cue makers around at the cue show and that was a great plus as well
thanks Rik.It was great to see cues you may never get a chance to see
anywhere and hear the storys some of those guys can tell.
Now to address the coverage remarks . I was only covering the live streaming
and had checked and double checked everything this week .I had a back up
pc as well but it was not set up just like my main streaming computer .Well
my fancy video card will not work with the back up computer .....so I was
sorta SOL
. This week I am doing the set up and repairs on my pc and will
also clone it and have an exact back up in case that ever occurs again .On a
good note I did get alot of good matches filmed and in the near future will
post them to watch . The rest of the coverage was left in the hands of others
I think they had a GREAT turn out .Joey A and I counted over 200 people in the
room today and they dont sell alcohol on sundays . It's the 1st year of this so I am sure there
are things to iron out .Overall it was one of the better tournaments I have been to.
When I do the stream next year I may have 3 back up machines by then :thumbup:
