Trying to work out a way to get to Marietta for the Gem City Classic. Anyone have any recommendations for a decent hotel? What to expect, who's going to be there, any action (might match up a little myself, but always love sweating the good matches) cue and case makers attending? Thanks for any info.

if you look in the main thread Rik has pointed out some local hotels

There will most definitely be side action - 100%

The hotels that are near by are also about 2-3 miles away - so its barely a 4 minute drive on 2 / 3 roads to go from hotel -> hall.

As far as your action question? If Mr. Action says there will be action then there will be action. We will also be having a players auction for the tournament. The auction will start around 4:30 PM on Friday July 10th.
