If you walk out in the middle of scheduled work it's considered as turning in your resignation papers. There should be a job opening and there are a lot of applicants willing to cross the ocean to apply for it.

The IPT with its requirements have set the stage for all the road players, hustlers, and players to actually become professional, not only in their play, but also in their sportsmanship and manners.
All good Pool players have an ego, some greater than their talent for the game, and many players will get a rude awakening down the line that they can no longer get away with what they have in the past in Po-dunk city because as an IPT member they are expected to behave otherwise, plus the internet plays a part, since so many people have become aware of who the players are, their pictures, and they are becoming more of a public figure. Where they could be a prima donna sometimes, they will not be able to do that in the future because the future of Pool is in the process of changing, and for the better, I might add.

The reasons are the facts presented.George said:You guys/gals are real sharp. I mean hey, you came to these conclusions from what you read in that email, right? I guess the reason(which none of us knows) doesn't matter? I sure hope if I'm ever on trial for anything that you all aren't on my jury.
Nobody wants to take away a persons opportunity to make a living, he himself is responsible for this as his action showed that he didn't care for the opportunity given him.George said:I think we should at least know all the facts before we recommend taking away a persons oppurtunity to earn a living. I'm not defending Ginky's position(I don't know it yet),
That's where the problem stemmed from. He didn't give the immediately concerned people the opportunity to listen to his reason for such action.George said:but he has the right to be heard before you guys lynch him.
Exactly! He should have told them the legitimate reason before he took action.George said:They released that email in a short time frame following him not showing for his match. From the sounds of the email I would guess that they don't know why he left either. There could be a perfectly legitimate reason for him leaving.
The facts presented were:George said:I would be very disappointed if it comes out that Ginky just blew off his last match but I'm not willing to assume it without hearing what he has to say. You all shouldn't either.![]()
Well I for one will just take that as it is. Get well soon Ginky. Congratulations to you and the IPT Org for handling this situation well.watchez said:From the front page of AZBilliards:
Yesterday, George San Souci walked off the playing floor after a loss. He never showed up to play his final match of the day resulting in a forfeit. Not completing a bracket, even if you are statistically out of the tournament is considered unsportsmanlike conduct. The IPT has strict rules, and this situation could have meant a tour card suspension or loss for San Souci. Today, Deno Andrews called San Souci by telephone to ask about his reason for not completing his scheduled match. The telephone call woke up San Souci, who had been sleeping all day as a result of being very ill. San Souci apologized profusely for not completing his scheduled match and insists that he asked hotel staff to get a message to Tournament Director Lindsay Erazo that he was ill and couldn't complete his remaining match. After some investigation, Andrews determined that San Souci was indeed very ill, and has been for a couple of days. The IPT issued San Souci a warning. San Souci later apologized to Erazo and explained that he wanted to play the match for his statistics, which were hurt badly, but that he was too sick to do so.

But you do not ask hotel staff to get the message out.
You do it yourself.
