Thanks man! I search every day for info and video on youtube. It is fun having passion for learning a new discipline. Had my best practice game yesterday... averaging .833 to 20 points 23 innings with a 5 and a 4. Too many open frames! :)

Those are some great links. I always learn something new each day. Today is no exception. Thanks BS.

Thanks for the links.

I would recommend buying some of the accustats billiard DVD's. I have found these to be EXCELLENT. My method of research is to pause the video right before the shot. I tried to think about what shot I would take, how I would hit it, and why. Then watch it. If it's the same shot, I give myself a pat on the back. If they hit it just like I would have, my head swells and I have visions of grandeur. If they hit it differently, or take a different shot, I try to figure out why. I then take a few shots of this nature, and go practice at the pool hall.

An added bonus to the accustat videos is they have commentators to the matches. Many times I will get good insight into why they are doing what they do. Bob Byrne is often one of the commentators. A few of the videos have the top players on the mic...love em.

That's my method. I'm not a great player, but getting better and having a great time.
