Getting a new cue

here is the set i was talking about, this is my personal set so the player is 1.25 inches longer on the butt than normal.

the set i offered in the deal would be normal 29" butt and shaft.

I received my new cue - Predator Sneaky with the wrap.
I didn't get the 30" shaft - it would have meant waiting
until the end of july.

I've been shooting with it this past week.
I was expecting this amazing transformation - it didn't happen.

I can put more spin on with greater accuracy, and I find myself
doing just that when it's not really called for.

I am adjusting to the new weight, my two old cues are both 16.5 oz.
The Predator is 18.5. Sounds like a small difference, but to me
it's very noticeable and feels like a ton of bricks.

I was very used to a normal maple shaft, now using the
314-2....it will definitely take some getting used to.

All in all I do like a low deflection shaft :)
 
my first week with a 314 2 was rough. But after that i really dont want to play with any other shaft. been using on for sometime now.

There is no magic in a pool cue,It's in you. But a cue that looks and feels good can help bring out the magic you are looking for.
Where are you in NJ? I played there for decades maybe we know each other?

thanks for the offer.

while i have no doubt there are many excellent custom cue makers,
at least for the moment - i'll stick to production cues.
