Getting activated to post to threads???

I have forgotten how to do this and a friend is trying to join, what do you do after signing up so you are able to post to the threads??
 
All I did was sign-up, choose a default avatar, and added a sig and I was activated. I say this because the first time I tried to create an account, I didn't choose a default avatar or add a sig and that account was never activated.
 
Nothing to do really...it took a while for my account to get activated when I signed up, 10 days or so I think. For a while I was wondering if it wasn't working or something.
 
I had to wait. It took something like ten days for my account to "activate".

Try a pm to a mod or admin....it may well move things quicker.

Of all the sites I'm a member of,this one had the slowest "ok" of them all by far.It's far from automatic and I suspect they have their reasons.

Put a good word in with those who can green light your bud is my suggestion.
 
Sign up and wait a few days. If not activated then drop and email to the House Pro from the same email address as the new account and you will be set.
 
After you sign up you are supposed to get an email with a link to click to get your account activated. This is an automated process, I believe.
Upon activation you should be able to log in but still cannot post or reply. That's only possible after one of the admins validated your account. In my case it happened about 4-5 hours the initial registration so I should say they were pretty quick espceially because it was Sunday.
Oh, and apparently it has nothing to do with an avatar. ;)

Activation.......

It took me a few days. I finally sent an email to AzHouse Pro and that did the trick.

You wait....and wait....and wait....

I thought they had forgotten about me for a few weeks after I signed up. Oh well, here I am passing the workday away with happy little posts....and we've got a nice happy tree that lives right over here...and look, there's a big happy cloud there in our sky...how 'bout we put a nice rolling stream right down the middle of our mountains here....

Yes AZ Forums is definately a HAPPY place indeed! :grin:
