Light scratching and bluing can be cleaned up with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, deep scratches, may have to replace Ferrule?

They can be removed by getting it on a cueman's lathe and having the ferrule polished/cleaned.

Did you borrow someone's cue without asking?

Haha nope it's my cue.

Whew. I had a hack scratch up my ferrule pretty badly on a lathe, had bad rings in it. I mean... bad! Another guy was able to polish them out with minimal loss of material. If you can't achieve it this way, then listen to CaptainHook and get a new ferrule installed.

i use 2000 grit wet sandpaper. Not sure if that is a recomended way to fix scratches, but it works.

Magic eraser will clean the chalk out of the scratches, but they will come back.

Scratch removal is best done on a lathe by someone who knows what he is doing.

Change the ferrule and stop grinding the chalk on the tip like you do and stop using a scuffer.......
