I know I saw a how to play the ghost thread on here before but couldnt find anything on a search. Lets say Im playing the 6 ball ghost ,i break and make the 6 .Does it get spotted? Do i now only have to get to the five or too bad now I gotta get to the nine? Thanks,,,

YOu could play it either/ any way. Depends on your skill level and how mad you are at yourself!

I would suggest you play it the same way as if you were playing somebody else (real person), except that you lose if you fail to win on your first turn.

To directly address your query- I think the 6 on the break is a win. Counting it as such will only even out that fluke occurance that causes you to lose a later game!

In most tournaments or even in action play, if you or your opponent are breaking and your money ball goes in, it's your choice on whether or not you want to pull up your ball (of course in almost 100% of the time you would). So I would say go ahead and spot your 6 and just play the rack as you normally would.

The original way I heard of the ghost 15 years ago, the moneyball is spotted whenever it is made out of order. Break, combo, etc.
