Yes, that's what I meant -- TRILLION!

It went up almost 5 trillion under Bush in 8 years. That's a lot! It went up almost 5 trillion under Obama in 4 years! That's a lot more! Current projections even with Obamas deficit cutting agenda put our National debt at more than 20 Trillion if Obama gets 4 more years. Can we really afford 4 more years? I don't know. Can we? Heck, if we can sustain 16 trillion we can surely sustain 20 trillion; wouldn't you think? I don't want to think about it. Gold will be $4k an ounce by then. :-)

Oh well, I'm not an avid AZer and in the real world NPR is something else. However, if you complainers have been following the thread you would have noticed that it went off on a tangent with the Gibson raids possibly being politically motivated and so here we are at this discussion. So, it's not really off topic based on what's been said within the thread.
