Gilbert cue refinish

I'm sending my cue to Andy this month to get a refinish job. I am thinking about a brown wrap, but don't know if I want irish linen or some sort of brown leather wrap. Also, I was going to have an extra shaft made with it, any suggestions on LD shafts, wrap choices or other advice? The cue has cocobolo points into BEM, white with black specled linen wrap with bacote butt and ivory diamonds. The joint and butt plate are non-ivory. The cue is signed Gilbert 98'. Thanks in advance. Peanut

i would keep the wrap linen because it fits the time period the cue was built. as far as the shaft goes try something new!

white and green linen is always a winner. Instead of paying extra for "ld" shafts why not see if you can pay a little extra for some top shelf maple. Just a thought.

Good point

Yes I thought about having him make me a new shaft an with ivory ferrule and refinish my shaft with an ivory ferrule and morri or kamui tips on both...Thanks for all the input guys.
