Gilbert Full Snakewood cue

OK, here's a weird question. Is that a jump break cue?

On the middle ivory band, it looks like there is a line halfway through it, making it look like a joint.

Am I seeing things?

yes, there is a joint in the middle of the section. is my shooting cue with the option of jump cue. i don't think i would try to break with this cue at all.
