Gina Kim-Lipsky Video Interview

Superstar,

Does this mean next time you'll ask her for some weight? Is it common knowledge, if not won't talking about it kill her scrabble action?

*Maybe at Amsterdam Billiards, in the same glass counter housing Mika's 2009 US Open trophy plaque, is a well thumbed copy of Merriam-Webster's dictionary*

Watched this interview, and I'm humbled by the numerous references to me.

While Gina, my highly valued friend of over ten years, is quick to give credit to others for her advancement as a player, her competitive successes are really attributable to her open-mindedness, her love of the game, and her remarkable creativity at the table. I'm happy to share with this forum that I encouraged a couple of my female students over the years to study Gina's game to gain some extra insights into being creative at the table.

Gina's a winner, plain and simple, and in Steve Lipsky, she's hooked up with another winner. Gina and Steve are two of the strongest pillars on which the New York City pool scene is built, and I'm very proud to know them so well.

Maybe i just suck at scrabble.:)

As for weight, no way. If I'm gonna win, i want to win on my own merit.

Gina just asked me to thank everyone for their kind replies... she had a lot of fun doing the interview and reading this thread.

Happy New Year!

- Steve
