Ginacue-rainbow

The cue is absolutely beautiful...but man how do you guys do it? I mean, how can you buy something that'll play like a beast and not use it?!? Yes, I understand it's a Gina, that in itself is enough NOT to touch it! But doesn't he have...I don't know...regular playing cues?!? I hear people on the forums say how their Gina hits like no other...period!

what kind of pooh are we talking here?

I also have the impression that Jimbo's collection is way up there. He probably has cues that collectors would like to have. ;)

R.Paul ----> Are you going to use this Ginacue to play? I've heard good things about them.

To the other collectors ----> do you guys actually use your collectible custom cues to play? And I'm not talking stroking some balls here, like for proper play.

i do. i think most cues are meant to be played with,,,,some REALLY fancy ones obviously are better left unplayed. but i wouldn't do mine justice if i didn't play with them.

if Jimbo played with a different cue everyday for the rest of his life i don't think he could make it all the way through his collection

short life eh, does he have a terminal illness.... (joke, joke, just kidding....). Knowing that, I think his illness is buying cues. Obsessive Compulsive Cue Buyinitis. ;)

This is the same, or almost the same, cue that Fong Pang Chao used to win the world pool championships. The veneer colors might be a bit different, and he had his name and title engraved on the ivory joint.

Will you ever Play Pool with this fancy Q, or is it a SALE QUEEN..........

Ernie does not have a Cartalog per say, just Photos and a Price list.

Drop him a note at his shop, and you may get Photos and a Price list.

His address is on the American CueMakers Association Site,

http://www.cuemakers.org

Sure, I have played pool with this cue several times and it's not for sale. :)

No, they are Phillippi's :)

Joe

i think a unique and inspired collection would be hundreds of mali's in every color in the rainbow, displayed in a gigantic color wheel.

I put Chao's Ginacue on Ebay 2 years ago and the owner decided to pull the auciton off after a few days. Chao's cue is NFS now~

He'll definitely own up to the Torture Cue. As for the other cues in his alleged (humungous) collection, we can only venture a guess as to how big and collectible those cues are... My guess is he'll have the top cues from the top cue makers.

I used to shoot with the same model gina posted in these pics, sans the silver outlining which still cost me around $6000, its called the "Rasputin". It was the best shooting cue I have ever owned. 4.1 ounce shafts at 12.75mm, I could juice the cue twice as much with half the effort of any other cue I had ever used and it had great feedback. I hate cues that hit like telephone poles. My new Ginacue will be here in April and it gives this one the 7 ball IMO.
