I don't come here to brag or to try to impress anyone, I come here to look at cues and share opinions. If you need to show off or stroke your ego you go right ahead, if you have a problem with my opinion then go right ahead and disagree, maybe we can debate a topic, it might be fun and people may even learn something from it (on both sides). But don't try to make me into some sort of bad guy because I speak my mind, don't ass kiss, and want the rules followed.

Totally off topic by now, The top snakewood cue is very nice. Mr. Tucker, I found some snakewood, I'll send you pictures privately next week to show you what I did with it. It's in the spray booth.

The joke was funny! I found the thread about that particular cue design interesting and read many of the posts. I don't understand how anyone could argue that the design of the Phillippi wasn't a copy, or at a minimum, inspired by the Ginacue. To me, it looked virtually identical. That being said, I also don't understand how anyone would expect that any form of art / design wouldn't get copied. I would venture to say that EVERY form of art is copied. From paintings, music, film, etc. Anyone that buys a painting of the Mono Lisa would know if it was painted by Da Vinci. Anyone who buys a Ming Vase would know if it was made in the Ming Dynasty. Why wouldn't you expect to see this type of thing happen in the cue world?
