I've been plagued by my glasses for years. I'm 70 and a middle handicap league player. A few months ago I bought a pair of Decot Hi-Wide glasses made to my prescription. They're made to allow maximum focus between 3 and 10 feet which is perfect for pool. They"re made for shooting originally I believe and the lenses are tall and wide to allow an unobstructed view without the frame getting into the field of view while playing. They're great for me as now I can reallly can see where I fvck up.
Really though I recommend them for anyone that finds their glasses to be a hinderance. Mitch

Agreed.

My new eye doc understood my complaints, and gave me a script for 3-10 feet, like uou describe.

Now when i get down to shoot and havent changed to my pool glasses, i can really tell the difference!

luckily my eye dr's father shoots pool, so, when I told him I wanted the specs to focus from 2 ft to 10 ft, he knew exactly what I needed. and he delivered...I don't know how I made so many shots before getting them. they did raise my "delivery" quite a bit, thank goodness.

A player named Mizerak shot pretty darn straight while wearing glasses like the ones described in the original post. Yup, they work!
