There is a bar in my area that has 2 Global 8" coin op tables in great shape. I recovered them a few years ago and always admired these tables. I was talking to the owners the other day and mentioned that I have a 7' Dynamo at home, also in great shape. They would like a smaller table for another area in the place and asked if I would like to trade one of theirs for mine. What is your opinions on Global tables? Are they well built? Would this be a good deal for me? I've always wanted a bigger table and would like some input on Global. Thanks.

Depends on what year the Global was built, as well as the Dynamo in order to determine their value. If the Dynamo has the pressboard top rail cap that the rail blocks bolt to, then I consider that to be one of the junk Dynamo's. Depending on when the Global was built, it may be somewhat junk as well.

Hey Glen, just looked at my Dynamo and it has the hardwood top rail cap. Now how do I determine the age of the Global?

That is one of the better Dynamos, Check the construction of the global? How does it compare?
