Thanks to all of you that have posted something on this thread. Who knows what will help the game in the future? All I know is the way it's going now, isn't going to get the job done.
I'm not silly enough to think pool players will ever command the salaries, baseball, basketball or football are getting today and in the future. I just think we could do a lot better.
If some of you don't like pro players, for whatever reasons, I don't blame you. I'm not to fond of a lot of them, myself.
I do respect the game they play and how difficult a game it is to master and that should have a shot at a fairly desent living. Despite their often ignorant and arrogant ways.
I hope the movie, Nineball, has a positive impact on the game and possibly creates a new interest in the game. We need it.
I'd like to hear more opinions. Maybe someone out there, with influence, will use your idea. Ya never know.
