I have been using Loctite 401 glue for many years and have had no problems until I use it on Phenolic tips they pop off after awhile when player uses it to jump balls. Do you know of a glue that will hold these on?

Try Gorilla glue.
I have seen by some past posts that gorilla glue is not that good.
There are a couple types of gorilla glue aren't there? Which one are you talking about. Do you have experience with phenolic tips? And gorilla glue works.

I use the white one.
I used on white diamond tip. Scratched the bottom of the tip with 60 grit, moisten it with some water, put glue on the face of the ferrule.
Let dry for half an hour then trim.
It's held so far.

Thanks Joey for the tip, I just was going to ask that same question, just had a couple come off also.

I USE THIS GLUE FOR MY PHENOLIC TIP AND I CANT EVEN CUE THEM OFF. IT SCARES THE LIFE OUT OF ME EVERYTIME...

ONE TIME A FRIEND MISCUED AND CHIPPED THE EDGE OF MY PHENOLIC TIP. I DID EVERYTHING I COULD TO TRY AND MAKE THAT TIP FALL OFF FOR MONTHS AND IT WOULDNT FALL OFF

I use the above Glue Dave showed for most tip jobs and it is great. But for Phenolic I use the Loctite Professional. It is a thinner glue.
